aperture.16 is the photo blog of Steffen Kangowski.

aperture.16 isn't only a blog for my own photos. Also I will publish in addition photo technically information which sounds interesting for me and hopefully for other people as too.

I started my first tries for photography at the age of 6. I used a very simple mid size format film camera made of bakelite. But this machine was easy to handle and worked well. It shows me great different views to the world around me. Until today it's only a hobby for me to relax and discuss ideas around it with other people. I work mainly with digital SLRs but I own a big collection of old analog cameras and it's always a good idea to use it from time to time.
